Senior Analyst | 6 Month FTC | £70,000 | 1 Day a Week in Office or remote

A growing multi-site business is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its central finance team on a six month fixed-term contract.

This is an immediate requirement, so you will need to be available at short notice.

The role sits within the FP&A function and reports into the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.

It is a hands-on, commercially focused position, turning complex data from across the business into clear reporting and practical insight that supports planning and decision-making.

  • What you will be doing
  • Producing accurate, timely reporting and analysis across a multi-site environment
  • Investigating performance movements and explaining the key drivers, variances and trends
  • Building and improving Excel models and forecasting tools for planning and scenario analysis
  • Using SQL to extract, structure and analyse data from multiple sources
  • Developing Power BI dashboards that improve visibility of performance
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and board reporting cycles
  • Partnering with stakeholders across sites and functions
  • Improving data quality, reporting processes and management information
  • What we are looking for
  • Strong experience in a multi-site, multi-team or operationally complex environment
  • Advanced Excel, including modelling and building analytical tools
  • Solid SQL skills for extracting and transforming data
  • Power BI experience, including dashboard development
  • Comfortable with large datasets and translating them into clear business insight
  • Curious, commercially minded and confident asking why
  • A clear communicator who can simplify complex analysis
  • Immediately available or on a very short notice period
