We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading international law firm, to assist them in their search for a new Senior Billing Specialist.

This is a new role in their London office, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting both the London and US billing teams with end-to-end billing processes.

Responsibilities will include

  • Processing client bills via Aderant.
  • Answering billing questions and resolving queries, WIP management, and adjustments.
  • Reviewing pre-bills, generating invoices, and encouraging cyclical processes.
  • Chasing unbilled accounts ensuring functions are completed on time.
  • Troubleshooting policy and client issues.
  • Submitting e-invoices.
  • Creating ad-hoc reports.
  • Mentoring other members in the billing team.
  • Applying UK VAT regulations to invoices; performing VAT checks on domestic and international matters.
  • Ensuring billing activities are compliant with SRA Accounts Rules.
  • Reviewing client matter balances.
  • Preparing and processing multi-currency and complex billing.
  • Processing credit notes and invoice amendments.

The firm are offering a competitive salary & benefits package, and hybrid working arrangements are in place.

Suitable candidates will have gained 5+ years of prior legal billing experience, ideally within a law firm, although professional services environments will also be considered.

Demonstrated experience with Aderant and Ebilling Hub is highly desired.
