Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the Sales Reporting Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing the entire suite of reporting for the UK sales function.
This is a highly visible role, providing critical insights to both field and senior leadership teams, ensuring key business decisions are driven by accurate, timely and actionable data.
This position offers the opportunity to shape reporting standards from the ground up and play a key role in the continued growth of a dynamic automotive business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of sales, retailer and performance reporting.
- Create and present management information packs for senior stakeholders.
- Analyse sales performance, retailer activity and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Produce weekly and monthly forecasting reports based on retailer submissions and wider business data.
- Develop intuitive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel and other reporting tools.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources and translate findings into clear commercial insights.
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of reports across field teams and retailer partners.
- Support retailer performance management through data-driven recommendations and analysis.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to continuously improve reporting quality and accessibility.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and reporting partners.
- Support supplier selection, onboarding and tender management activities.
- Continuously enhance reporting processes, automation and dashboard functionality.
- Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a reporting, analytics, sales operations, commercial analysis or business intelligence role.
- Strong Power BI skills with experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with large datasets and identifying key trends and performance indicators.
- Strong forecasting and management information reporting experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable presenting data and insights to senior stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment.
