My client, a leading international services group, based in Central London, is seeking to hire a Global Process Owner for Record to Report (R2R). This role is responsible for defining and leading the global Record-to-Report strategy, operating model, governance and transformation agenda across the business. This is a senior finance leadership role focused on driving standardisation, automation, financial control and process excellence while ensuring a scalable, best-in-class R2R function.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end global Record-to-Report process, governance framework and operating model.
- Lead the global R2R transformation roadmap, driving standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across all markets.
- Establish global process standards, controls, policies and KPIs, ensuring compliance and consistent execution.
- Drive improvements across month-end close, consolidation, intercompany, journal management, fixed assets, financial reporting and master data.
- Act as the design authority for R2R within ERP and finance transformation programmes.
- Partner with Finance, Technology, Shared Services and regional teams to align R2R processes with business strategy.
- Drive the adoption of best practice, automation and digital solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy and control.
- Use data and performance analytics to identify process improvement opportunities and monitor global performance.
- Influence senior stakeholders globally, ensuring adoption of standardised processes and new ways of working.
- Lead R2R governance, resolve critical process issues and oversee delivery against agreed service levels.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in Finance Transformation, Global Process Ownership, Record-to-Report or Shared Services.
- Deep expertise across the end-to-end Record-to-Report lifecycle within a global organisation.
- Proven track record leading large-scale finance transformation, ERP implementation and operating model redesign.
- Strong knowledge of financial close, consolidation, intercompany, journal management, fixed assets and financial reporting.
- Experience driving standardisation, Lean/Six Sigma, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of finance controls, compliance and global accounting processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership in a complex, matrix environment.
- Professional accounting qualification and ERP experience (NetSuite/Oracle desirable).
