Our client is a London based firm looking for an experienced tax consultant to help them cover the busy private client tax season. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Tax professional to join a respected practice offering the opportunity to progress the role into a full-time career.
The Role
- You'll manage a varied portfolio of private clients, including HNWIs, directors, landlords, sole traders, trusts and partnerships, delivering high-quality compliance work while identifying tax planning opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the Self-Assessment compliance process
- Preparing and reviewing personal, partnership and trust tax returns
- Advising on income tax, CGT, foreign income and residency matters
- Handling P11Ds, PSAs and HMRC correspondence
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting Partners on advisory work
- Building strong client relationships and mentoring junior team members
About You
- You'll have experience managing your own private client portfolio within a UK accountancy practice, strong technical knowledge of personal tax, and excellent client relationship skills.
- Ideally you'll have:
- UK private client tax compliance experience
- Portfolio management experience
- ATT, CTA or qualified by experience
