We are recruiting a Personal Tax Manager on behalf of a fast-growing and highly regarded accountancy practice in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Tax Manager or Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join a growing tax team, managing a portfolio of private clients and high-net-worth individuals while developing your advisory experience.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of private clients and high-net-worth individuals
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients
- Advising on UK personal tax matters, including IHT, residency, domicile, and year-end tax planning
- Reviewing personal tax returns prepared by junior team members
- Working closely with Partners on complex tax advisory projects
- Managing WIP, billing, workflow, and portfolio deadlines
- Building long-term client and professional adviser relationships
- Identifying opportunities to expand client services and generate new work
- Supporting business development and networking activities
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the tax team
About You
- CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualification
- Strong experience within UK Private Client Tax
- Good technical knowledge across personal tax compliance and advisory
- Experience managing a portfolio of private clients or HNW individuals
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Experience reviewing work and developing junior team members
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A proactive, commercial, and client-focused approach
- Working knowledge of IRIS Personal Tax would be advantageous.
