We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated North American Casualty Claims Specialist to join the London-based claims team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading Broker, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients with complex casualty claims across the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of North American casualty claims, including general liability and excess/umbrella claims
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, insurers and legal representatives
  • Provide expert guidance on claims strategy, coverage interpretation and reserving
  • Monitor claims progress, ensuring timely updates and resolution
  • Negotiate settlements where appropriate and support dispute resolution processes
  • Analyse claims data to identify trends and provide risk management insights to clients
  • Collaborate with broking teams to deliver a seamless client service
  • Key Requirements
  • Proven experience handling North American casualty claims within a Broker or insurer
  • Strong technical knowledge of US liability claims and litigation processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage complex claims with a proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • ACII qualification (or working towards) is desirable
