Responsibilities

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will

  • Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of commercial vehicles
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections
  • Ensure vehicles meet all legal, compliance and safety requirements
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections where required
  • Attend customer sites and complete repairs efficiently and professionally
  • Accurately complete repair documentation and job records
  • Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business
  • Support operational teams to maximise vehicle availability

The role offers a varied workload, working across a range of light commercial vehicles and fleet operations.

Various shift patterns available. Details will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who have

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Experience maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles, LCVs or similar fleet vehicles
  • A full UK manual driving licence
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
  • A proactive approach with a strong focus on safety and quality
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
