Market Relationship Manager
We are working with a leading UK insurance broking and underwriting group that is looking to appoint a Market Relationship Manager to join its Market Management team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded relationship professional who enjoys building strong partnerships, analysing performance, identifying opportunities and finding practical solutions to business challenges.

Working on a hybrid basis, ideally with three days per week in London, you will work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the business.

You will take ownership of a panel of insurer relationships, helping to strengthen partnerships, identify opportunities for growth and maximise the value of key insurer relationships.

The Role

  • Manage and develop key insurer relationships, ensuring agreed objectives and commercial outcomes are delivered.
  • Build strong relationships with insurers and internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Analyse performance data and market information to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and support initiatives designed to drive growth.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve market, operational and commercial challenges.
  • Support strategic projects and wider business improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, insurer strategies and regulatory developments, assessing their potential impact on the business.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.
  • Track and report on relationship and portfolio performance, using data to demonstrate tangible business outcomes.

About You
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven individual who is confident building relationships and able to turn insight into action.

You may already be working in a similar market management, insurer relationship, distribution, broking or commercial role, or you may be looking to make a move into market management from a role where you have developed strong transferable skills.

You'll ideally bring

  • Strong Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful commercial insight.
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with senior individuals both internally and externally.
  • A commercially minded approach, with a focus on identifying opportunities and delivering measurable results.
