Senior Events Manager
A leading global professional services firm is seeking an experienced Senior Events Manager to lead the strategy, planning and delivery of high-profile client events across in-person, virtual and hybrid formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of premium client events, conferences, sponsorships and executive hospitality.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define event objectives, manage budgets and measure ROI.
- Oversee venue sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation and production logistics.
- Manage event branding, collateral, AV, hospitality and on-site execution.
- Drive innovation, best practice and continuous improvement across event operations.
- Track event performance, budgets and ROI using CRM and event management platforms.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, governance and accreditation requirements.
- Line manage, mentor and develop a small events team.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years' experience delivering high-profile events within a professional services or international corporate environment.
- Proven people management and project leadership experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in budget management and supplier negotiation.
- Experience delivering virtual, hybrid and in-person events.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CRM experience (e. g. Inter Action or similar) and confidence using event technology.
- Established network of venues and event suppliers preferred.
- Knowledge of fine dining and wine pairings for executive client events is advantageous.
- Degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel and work outside standard business hours when required.
