Opportunity for an International Arbitration Solicitor to join a leading specialist litigation boutique in London at Associate or Senior Associate level.

The Firm

My client is a highly regarded specialist disputes boutique, recognised as one of London's leading litigation firms. The firm has built an outstanding reputation for handling some of the most high-profile and complex disputes globally, acting for corporates, sovereign states, investors and high-net-worth individuals. Their Legal 500-ranked International Arbitration team is continuing to grow and is now looking to hire an Associate or Senior Associate to join their close-knit team.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international arbitration practice working on some of the most significant commercial and investment treaty arbitrations currently before leading arbitral institutions. The team advises clients on high-value, cross-border disputes across a broad range of sectors and jurisdictions, acting in commercial arbitrations under major institutional rules as well as investment treaty, State-investor and State-State disputes, often involving billion-dollar claims. You'll work directly alongside an experienced Partner and a small, collaborative team, giving you exceptional exposure from day one. Unlike larger international firms, this role offers genuine responsibility, including the opportunity to play a proactive role in case strategy, client management and, for those with the ambition, developing advocacy skills. The firm is known for providing outstanding Partner access, hands-on experience and a clear commitment to developing its lawyers into recognised experts within their field.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent common law jurisdiction) with approximately 3-7 years' PQE
  • Strong international arbitration experience gained at a respected City or international law firm
  • Experience in both commercial and investment treaty arbitration would be highly advantageous

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Hybrid working
  • Direct Partner mentorship and exceptional client exposure
  • High-quality international work with genuine responsibility
  • Excellent long-term progression within a growing specialist practice
