Fantastic interim management opportunity for a highly-experienced CFO with extensive background in investment / funding / company sale and corporate finance for SME tech businesses.
This individual will be the key finance contact / figurehead, working closely in partnership with the inspirational business founder / serial-entrepreneur and their senior management team to ensure the best result for the future value, growth and development of the company.
You will be the key finance contact and bridge with corporate finance advisors / lawyers and commercial interests, working closely with the FC and finance to prove financial / commercial data and respond to requests for information from advisors, layers and interested parties.
You will have an extensive background in corporate funding and business sales.
Sector experience in the sale of SME technology businesses.
You will be able to demonstrate specific examples of taking the lead financial role in complex, multi-party investment / funding negotiations.
Specific experience working in small private tech businesses and involvement in strategic investment or outright sale would be advantageous.
The successful individual will be an experienced, subject-matter expert in SME sales, investment, and all areas of corporate finance.
You will be a trusted advisor to the founder and senior management in complex negotiations, bringing insight and counsel from a commercial / financial point of view.
This is a remote role for a UK private limited company. Regular travel to the US will be required.
Initial contract of 3 months with potential for extension / longer term opportunity.
Remuneration will be in the region of £800-£1000 per day + expenses. Outside IR35.
