R13 Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an exciting and fast-growing insurtech business in their search for an Implementation Specialist to join their growing UK team.

This is a great opportunity for a commercial, personable insurance professional who enjoys working with people and able to identify commercial opportunties with clients, but is equally comfortable getting into the detail, recognising anomalies and assuring absolute accuracy in the data.

You'll need a good understanding of commercial insurance, terminology and classes of business, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The role involves working directly with clients to understand their requirements and translating insurance products, pricing structures, rating rules and documentation into the company's innovative technology platform.

You'll be involved throughout the implementation journey, from understanding requirements and configuring products through to testing, training and successful client launch.

Based in London, you'll work from their modern office an average of two days per week, with opportunities for national and international travel to client sites, events and industry expos.

You'll work closely with international teams across the UK, US and Mexico, with a two-week training trip to Mexico as part of your onboarding.

There are also opportunities for international travel, client visits, industry events, an annual overseas team offsite and potential short-term working opportunities from Mexico.

  • The Day to Day
  • Manage the implementation and onboarding of new insurance clients.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their products and requirements.
  • Review pricing structures, rating rules, policy documents and product information.
  • Translate insurance requirements into the technology platform.
  • Configure and test products, identifying issues and improvements.
  • Work with technical and international teams to resolve queries and deliver solutions.
  • Provide client training and support through to successful implementation.
  • Maintain implementation documentation and look for ways to improve the process.
  • Idenitfy potential opportunities for growth within clients and refer back to the wider team.
  • Attend client meetings, events and expos, with opportunities for travel.
  • You Will Have/Be
  • 2–3 years' experience within commercial lines insurance.
  • Good knowledge of commercial insurance terminology and classes of business.
  • Experience with brokers, insurers or the London insurance market would be advantageous.
  • Commercial, personable and confident, with a genuine ability to build relationships.
  • Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Confident working with Excel and detailed information.
  • A natural problem solver who enjoys understanding how things work.
  • Interested in technology and comfortable learning new platforms.
  • Proactive, curious and confident asking questions and suggesting improvements.
  • German would be a significant advantage; Spanish or Italian also beneficial.
