An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Governance & Delegated Audit team of a leading international insurance business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to build a broad understanding of insurance governance, product oversight, conduct risk, data analysis and delegated authority.

The team is particularly interested in people who are analytically minded and confident using Excel.
The Role
This is a highly varied position supporting the first-line oversight of Product and Underwriting Governance processes, procedures and standards.
You'll gain exposure to a wide range of areas including
- Supporting annual product reviews and tracking actions through to completion.
- Completing conduct risk assessments.
- Supporting conduct, governance and assurance activities with internal teams and third-party business partners.
- Analysing conduct and product MI, turning data into meaningful insights and presenting this through reports and committee packs.
- Supporting Independent Expert Review programmes.
- Assisting with regulatory and technical governance activities.
- Supporting the ongoing oversight of product distribution processes.
- Monitoring and supporting the assurance breach process.
- Supporting the Delegated Audit process, including planning, scoping, invoice management and recommendation tracking.
- Supporting control testing, exception reporting, data collection exercises and FCA regulatory returns across the business.
- Preparing information and MI for senior stakeholder and committee meetings.
The role is intentionally broad, giving you the opportunity to develop knowledge across multiple areas rather than becoming focused on one particular process.
What We're Looking For
- Experience within insurance is highly desired.
- Experience in areas such as delegated authority, delegated audit, governance, compliance, assurance or underwriting support.
We're looking for someone who is confident manipulating and analysing data and ideally has experience with things such as:
- Advanced Excel formulas
- Pivot tables
- Data analysis and manipulation
- Creating MI packs and reports
- Data visualisation
- Power BI
- Turning data into insights
