Kenneth Brian Associates are working on behalf of a well established and growing organisation based in London who are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of key accounting processes, support strategic decision making, and contribute to the continued success of the business.

The role

  • You'll support the Finance Director across a broad range of finance activities, including:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts ensuring proper recording and reporting of financial transactions
  • Provide finance support to operational and marketing teams responsible for show cost budgets and revenue.
  • Build, review and maintain budgets and forecasts in the FP&A system
  • Financial accounting responsibility for all legal entities within remit, balance sheet reconciliation and audit compliance
  • Report and manage financial risks and opportunities at show level
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis.

Supporting the FD and business to develop new and innovative analysis reports to help the business focus on performance and delivering financial objectives

  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting processes as well as ensure the business are following finance process and train/support where needed.
  • Ad-hoc support as required to the senior finance team
  • Support, development and training of a team of two and responsible for AR/credit control within the business as well as cashflow reporting to adhere to Group deadlines.

About you

We're looking for someone who is

  • Qualified or finalist accountant
  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of month-end accounting processes.
  • Project accounting experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Lookups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive and positive approach with strong team-working abilities.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
