A leading independent firm is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its highly regarded Corporate Tax team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a CTA-qualified corporate tax professional with 5+ years' post-qualification experience, including at least 12 months operating at Senior Manager level.
The successful candidate will enjoy working with an entrepreneurial and diverse client base and will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical advice and compliance services.
The firm works with an impressive and varied portfolio of clients across sectors including international businesses, luxury retail, hospitality, music, entertainment and sport.
Its collaborative structure means there is significant opportunity to work across teams and develop broad commercial expertise.
The Role
You will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of corporate clients, providing both compliance and advisory services while acting as a key technical point of contact.
Your responsibilities will include
- Advising on international transactions and business structuring.
- Providing expertise on transfer pricing, profit fragmentation and corporate interest restrictions.
- Advising on mergers, demergers and acquisitions.
- Working on R&D and creative tax reliefs, including Theatre and TV.
- Managing complex corporate tax compliance and consultancy projects.
- Overseeing WIP, billing and cash collection.
- Developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Working closely with Partners and colleagues across the wider firm.
- Leading, mentoring and developing members of the corporate tax team.
About You
You will have excellent corporate tax compliance and advisory experience, strong technical and commercial awareness, and the confidence to deal directly with Partners and senior clients.
You will be a clear communicator and collaborative team player who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex problems and delivering exceptional client service.
Experience managing, coaching and developing a team is essential.
