We are recruiting a Corporate Tax Manager in London to lead advisory and compliance projects for owner-managed businesses (OMBs) and large corporates. This client-facing role combines corporate tax advisory, technical analysis, compliance oversight, and team mentorship.

You will manage corporate transactions, tax due diligence, employee share schemes, and advise on reliefs such as EIS/SEIS. The role also involves reviewing corporate tax returns and supporting audit teams with technical queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on corporate transactions, reconstructions, statutory demergers, share repurchases
  • Provide guidance on corporation tax, income tax, CGT, VAT, SDLT and other relevant taxes
  • Prepare tax valuations and clearance letters for HMRC
  • Manage tax due diligence projects, coordinating with the wider tax team
  • Supervise junior team members and review their technical work
  • Support compliance work: review corporation tax returns and annual computations
  • Build strong client relationships and provide clear, practical advice

About You

  • CTA qualified; ACA/ACCA also preferred
  • Strong corporate tax advisory and compliance experience
  • Skilled in mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Organised, proactive, client-focused, and able to manage deadlines and budgets
