Auricoe has been exclusively retained by a leading global private investment firm to appoint a Corporate Accountant to join its London finance team based in Mayfair.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a prestigious and highly respected investment business, working within a collaborative finance team supporting the firm's UK corporate entities.

The role offers broad exposure across corporate accounting, statutory reporting, financial controls, financial analysis and business partnering, providing an excellent platform for career development within a high-performing international organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end financial statements.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
  • Prepare VAT returns and support corporate tax compliance.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers and other professional advisers.
  • Maintain and enhance financial controls, policies and accounting processes.
  • Produce financial analysis and reports for senior management.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives and continuous process improvements.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects across the wider finance function.
  • Candidate Profile
  • We're keen to speak with ambitious finance professionals who can demonstrate:
  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Experience within private equity, investment management, asset management, banking, financial services or another regulated corporate environment.
  • Alternatively, experience gained within a leading accountancy practice with a desire to move into an investment firm.
  • Strong financial accounting and statutory reporting experience.
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
