About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Civil Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join our growing disputes team in our London office.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied caseload of contentious matters for both individual and corporate clients while developing your technical expertise within a collaborative and supportive office environment.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload with appropriate supervision while assisting senior lawyers on more complex, high-value disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of civil litigation matters from instruction through to resolution.
- Advising clients on litigation strategy, legal risks, and commercial outcomes.
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, witness statements, applications, and settlement agreements.
- Conducting legal research and preparing detailed advice for clients.
- Handling matters through the County Court and High Court where appropriate.
- Representing clients at hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Liaising with counsel, experts, courts, and other third parties.
- Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Working proactively towards early dispute resolution where appropriate.
- Maintaining excellent client relationships and delivering a high standard of client care.
- Assisting with business development activities, networking, and building professional relationships.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.
