Position Overview
We're seeking a Pacing Cardiac Physiologist to with inpatient wards and outpatients.
- To take a lead in pacemaker, ICD and CRT follow up checks, documenting results and accounting for programming changes and making decisions about further diagnostic investigation or intervention as required
- To support PPM, ICD and CRT implantation including selection of appropriate devices and programming appropriately for each patient.
- To navigate remote monitoring platforms and create detailed reports
Essential Skills
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
- ILS
- RCCP registration (desirable)
- British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) accreditation or European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) accreditation or International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) accreditation
- Experience with Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Biotroniks and St Jude Pacemaker programmers
- Experience as independent practitioner in cardiology investigations
- Experience of assisting in Pacemaker and Implantable Loop recorder implantation (desirable)
- 24 hour Holter analysis.
