Venn Group's specialist Legal team is currently recruiting for a Locum Property Legal Officer to join a well-regarded Local Authority in the Home Counties. This role is well suited to someone seeking a secure, consistent caseload within a supportive team, while benefiting from fully remote working.
The Role:
- Duration: Initial 3 months with the possibility of extension
- Rate: Up to £35 per hour (Umbrella)
- Working Pattern: Part-Time, 20 hours per week
- Working Arrangement: Fully remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a high-volume Property caseload with a strong emphasis on Right to Buy matters
- Drafting and preparing legal documentation and managing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Conducting title investigations and preparing comprehensive title reports
- Handling all related enquiries and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within Local Authority property work
- Strong understanding of Right to Buy processes and associated legislation
- Confident in title investigation, drafting, and handling complex enquiries
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy caseload independently
