We're looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a well-established organisation at an exciting stage of its journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking the lead, building strong relationships across the business, and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of both weekly and monthly payrolls across multiple UK locations.
You'll become the go-to expert for all payroll-related matters, working closely with Finance, HR and operational teams to provide an efficient, accurate and employee-focused payroll service.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the complete payroll process from start to finish across multiple payrolls
- Ensuring all payrolls are processed accurately, confidentially and on time
- Acting as the main point of contact for payroll queries across the business
- Building strong working relationships with Finance, HR, management teams and external payroll providers
- Supporting managers and employees with payroll-related questions and resolving issues efficiently
- Explaining payroll calculations and processes in a clear and straightforward way
- Maintaining payroll compliance and keeping processes up to date with relevant legislation
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll and related finance processes
- Providing reporting and payroll insight to support business decision-making
What We're Looking For
You'll be an experienced payroll professional with a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and payroll best practice.

- Previous experience in a Payroll Manager or senior payroll position
- Experience managing both hourly-paid and salaried payrolls
- Strong knowledge of payroll-related finance processes
- Experience using payroll systems, ideally within a larger organisation
