Our client, a reputable family-run business based near Livingston, is seeking a dedicated Motorhome Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and ambitious Habitation Technicians looking to progress within the leisure vehicle industry.

Duties of the Motorhome Technician:
- Conduct habitation inspections and internal repairs on motorhomes
- Complete woodwork and internal repairs, including damp repairs
- Carry out gas repairs and installation, adhering to safety standards
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 12V and 240V installations
- Diagnose and maintain heating systems
- Fit accessories such as bike racks, awnings, TV aerials, and solar panels
- Perform warranty diagnosis and repairs
- Maintain a positive working environment and uphold high standards of customer service
Requirements of the Motorhome Technician:
- Live within reasonable commuting distance of Livingston, West Lothian
- Hold a valid UK manual driving licence with minimal points
- Previous experience in a similar habitation role within the leisure vehicle or marine industry is advantageous
- Willingness to undertake full training if transitioning from another technical sector
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a strong desire to learn
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Enthusiastic about developing a long-term career in the motorhome industry
