A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Grade A Serious Injury Solicitor to join its expanding Serious Injury team in Liverpool. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced solicitor who is passionate about delivering outstanding client care and achieving life-changing results for seriously injured individuals.

You will work alongside market-leading specialists on high-value, complex cases involving serious brain and spinal injuries, amputations and complex orthopaedic trauma. The role offers exposure to significant litigation, expert evidence, and long-running claims that require strategic, proactive case management.

The Role

  • Managing your own caseload of serious injury claims, including high-value brain, spinal, amputation and complex orthopaedic injuries
  • Attending client meetings, conferences with counsel, expert appointments and court hearings
  • Drafting high-quality witness statements, schedules of loss, pleadings and instructions to counsel
  • Leading litigation tasks in line with CPR and pre-action protocols
  • Working closely with medical, forensic and technical experts to assess causation, prognosis and long-term client needs
  • Negotiating interim payments, settlement proposals and costs
  • Ensuring proactive progression of complex, long-running claims
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to the wider development of the team

About You

  • Experience assisting on serious injury or large loss cases
  • Confident managing your own files with appropriate supervision
  • Strong litigation experience
  • Proficient with Proclaim and IT literate
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Ambitious, driven and committed to delivering exceptional outcomes
