About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our busy and growing Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who can independently manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters while delivering exceptional client service.
The successful candidate will handle transactions from instruction through to completion and work closely with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build purchases
- Shared ownership transactions
- Right to Buy matters
- Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and third parties.
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, searches, and legal documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Managing files efficiently and accurately using the firm's case management system.
- Meeting billing and performance targets while maintaining high standards of client care.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Fee Earner, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or Solicitor.
- A proven track record of managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
- Strong technical knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
- Excellent communication and client-care skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
