Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing Healthcare and Public Law team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected healthcare law practices, advising NHS organisations, independent healthcare providers and other health and social care sector clients on a broad range of complex and high-profile matters.

The team is recognised for its expertise across healthcare, public and regulatory law, providing advice on inquests, public inquiries, Court of Protection matters, judicial review, governance issues and wider healthcare-related legal challenges.

With continued growth across the practice, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside highly regarded specialists while developing their own practice within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

  • Proven experience handling healthcare-related inquests, including advocacy at inquest hearings
  • Previous experience advising clients on healthcare law matters
  • Strong advocacy, communication and client relationship skills
  • The ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive and flexible approach to client service
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
  • A willingness to travel where required
  • An interest in supporting business development initiatives and identifying opportunities to expand client services
