Your new role
You will play a key role within a collaborative Clinical Negligence team, managing your own caseload of claimant matters while also supporting senior colleagues on complex, high-value and catastrophic injury claims.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of claimant clinical negligence files from instruction through to conclusion
- Supporting senior team members on complex, multi-million-pound and catastrophic injury cases
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal documentation to a high standard
- Conducting legal research and assisting with case strategy and preparation
- Liaising with clients, Counsel, courts, medical experts and third parties
- Attending client meetings, conferences and hearings where appropriate
- Managing key dates, limitation periods and case progression proactively
- Ensuring all files are maintained in line with regulatory and compliance standards (SRA, AML, Lexcel)
- Participating in file audits, risk management and quality assurance processes
- Contributing to a collaborative team culture, including mentoring and knowledge sharing
- What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with circa 4+ years' PQE in Clinical Negligence
- Proven experience managing a claimant clinical negligence caseload independently
- Experience assisting on complex or high-value clinical negligence matters
- Strong knowledge of litigation processes and regulatory requirements
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused and empathetic approach
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
- Confident IT skills and experience using case management systems
- A genuine passion for clinical negligence work and achieving positive client outcomes
