On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established company, where you will play a key role within the Quality team, ensuring products and processes meet customer, internal and industry quality standards. Due to continued growth, the business is looking for a detail-focused QA Technician to carry out inspections, maintain quality documentation and support continuous improvement across the operation.
This varied role will see you conducting first-off, in-process and final inspections, using a range of precision measuring equipment and working closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues. You will also support non-conformance investigations, corrective actions, audits and the ongoing maintenance of quality systems.
This role would suit someone from a background in Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection or similar in a manufacturing environment looking to join a growing company where you can develop skills and progress within the company whilst also boosting your income with overtime.
The Role:
- Conducting first-off, in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Carrying out dimensional inspections using verniers, micrometres, height gauges and other measuring equipment
- Completing and maintaining accurate inspection reports and quality records
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 12:00
The Person:
- Background in Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection or similar
- Background in an engineering environment or similar
- Commutable to Lichfield
