A Production Manager opportunity has arisen within a growing manufacturing business supplying specialist material into engineering, manufacturing, and high-performance industrial sectors.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll take full responsibility for manufacturing performance, production planning and shop floor leadership, driving Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence across the site.

  • Production Manager responsibilities include -
  • Leading day-to-day manufacturing operations, production planning and scheduling to achieve delivery targets.
  • Managing, coaching, and developing Team Leaders, Production Operatives and Maintenance Engineers.
  • Driving Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Monitoring manufacturing KPIs and production data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and promoting a right-first-time culture.
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety, 5S and preventative maintenance across manufacturing operations.
  • Production Manager desirable skills and experience -
  • Previous Production Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership experience managing Team Leaders and developing high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and production planning.
