Hours: Monday to Friday – flexible start times of either 6:00am–2:00pm or 8:00am–4:00pm

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Operative to join a busy site in Leicester. This is a varied role suited to someone who is practical, proactive and enjoys getting stuck in. You will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repairs across the site, helping to keep the facilities safe, clean and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across the site
  • Complete basic repairs to fixtures, fittings, doors and furniture
  • Assist with painting, decorating and general upkeep
  • Carry out basic plumbing and other minor repairs
  • Use hand and power tools safely
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised
  • Support the wider site team with general duties when required
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

About You

  • Previous maintenance or handyman experience is desirable
  • Practical and confident using basic tools
  • Reliable, hardworking and hands-on
  • Able to work independently and use your initiative
