Manufacturing Assembly Operative - Desford

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join a world-leading manufacturing team in Desford.

This role offers a professional environment to refine your technical skills while contributing to the assembly of high-quality, heavy-duty machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precise component assembly using hand and air tools on a production line.
  • Conduct thorough visual quality inspections to ensure all parts meet rigorous standards.
  • Maintain adherence to standardized work manuals and established safety protocols.
  • Operate efficiently to meet defined TAKT times and productivity targets.
  • Execute final packing procedures to ensure products are prepared for distribution.

Hours and Pay Rate

  • Average of 37.5 Hours PER WEEK (Can flex dependant on requirements)
  • AM SHIFT
  • After 6 Months: £14.58 PER HOUR (subject to criteria being met)
  • Monday - Thursday
  • Start - 06.30AM/07:00AM, Finish - 15.30PM or 16:30PM.
  • Friday
  • Start - 06.30AM/07:00AM, Early Finish - 11:00AM or 12.00PM

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in operating hand and air tools safely.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and safety.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while performing repetitive technical tasks.
  • Flexibility to support various shift patterns as required by the business.
