Robert Half is recruiting for a Project Accountant to join a leading global professional services organisation during a major finance transformation. This role will lead the design, standardisation, and implementation of global budgeting and forecasting processes across a newly integrated business. Working closely with Finance, IT, Data, and senior stakeholders, you will help deliver scalable, efficient, and data-driven planning processes supported by new systems and technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Define the global target operating model for budgeting and forecasting
- Design standardised end-to-end planning processes across business units
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve planning activity
- Partner with Finance, IT, Data, and implementation teams to align process and system design
- Ensure alignment across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation
- Own global process standards, governance, and documentation
- Support training, communication, adoption, and transition to business-as-usual
Key requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
- Strong experience leading budgeting and forecasting transformation in a large global organisation
- Deep understanding of FP&A processes including budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, scenario planning, and driver-based planning
- Experience in finance transformation and ERP/EPM implementation programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and senior executive engagement experience
- Knowledge of systems such as D365, OneStream, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), or Workday Adaptive Planning
