The Role
This position would suit a confident and experienced Private Client Solicitor who is comfortable managing a busy and varied caseload while maintaining high standards of client care.
You will handle a broad range of private client matters, with a particular focus on complex and taxable estates and trust work, alongside Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Key responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion
- Advising on complex and taxable estates, including inheritance tax planning
- Drafting, setting up and administering trusts
- Preparing Wills and advising on estate planning
- Drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Handling estate administration, including high-value and complex estates
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Private Client work
- Strong experience managing a varied caseload independently
- Proven background in complex and taxable estates and trust matters
- Confident advising on Wills, estate planning and LPAs
- STEP qualification or working towards this would be advantageous
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Able to work flexibly across office locations if required
