Role Overview
- Manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed business clients.
- Build trusted client relationships and provide proactive accountancy and tax advice.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team.
- Review accounts and tax work to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support business development through networking and identifying opportunities.
- Drive improvements to systems, processes and client service.
- Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are consistently achieved.
- The Ideal Candidate
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent.
- Previous experience managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice.
- Confident communicating with clients and building lasting relationships.
- Enjoys developing and supporting junior team members.
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service.
- Audit exposure would be beneficial but is not essential.
