Are you an Installation Engineer with solar PV experience and an 18th Edition, looking to join a growing renewable energy business where you'll cover a regional patch, work autonomously and benefit from a company vehicle and excellent long-term progression?
This rapidly growing business specialises in innovative renewable energy and battery storage solutions, supporting customers across the UK with the installation, maintenance and technical support of clean energy systems. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Solar Installation Engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of solar PV systems across Yorkshire. You'll attend customer sites to carry out installations, fault-finding and technical troubleshooting, using your electrical knowledge to diagnose issues and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently. You'll also provide technical support to customers and installers, with further product training provided to develop your expertise.
This role would suit a Solar Installer, Solar PV Engineer, Renewable Energy Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Service Engineer with hands-on solar experience, looking for a technically varied role with excellent earning potential and long-term progression.
The Role:
- Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems across Yorkshire
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and technical troubleshooting on solar systems
- Provide technical support to customers and installers on solar PV equipment
- Complete electrical testing and ensure installations meet relevant standards
- Travel to customer sites across the regional patch using a company vehicle
- Manage your own diary and workload with no on-call requirement
The Person:
- Experience as a Solar Installer, Solar PV Engineer, Installation Engineer or similar
- 18th Edition qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
