A highly respected insurance broker in North Leeds is seeking an experienced Commercial/Corporate Account Handler Team Leader to join its growing commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team of four Account Handlers while managing a portfolio of larger, corporate-led commercial insurance clients.

The Role
As Commercial Account Handler Team Leader, you will
- Lead, coach and develop a team of four Commercial Account Handlers.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate commercial clients with premium incomes of up to £300,000.
- Act as a technical referral point, providing guidance and support to the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.
- Ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional customer service and achieves service standards.
- Work closely with Account Executives and senior management to support client retention, growth and business development.
- Drive operational excellence through effective workload management, coaching and continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have
- Proven experience handling commercial insurance within an insurance brokerage.
- Previous leadership, supervisory or mentoring experience, or the ambition and capability to step into a team leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial insurance products.
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
