The Opportunity
Working closely with experienced Audit Managers and Partners, the part-qualified auditor will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality audit engagements across a varied and interesting client base. The firm offers a clear pathway from supported audit delivery to leading audits end-to-end as your confidence and qualifications progress.
You'll benefit from exposure to group structures and owner-managed businesses, alongside opportunities to get involved in wider project work and advisory-led assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning, execution and completion of statutory audits
- Progressively take ownership of audit sections and over time manage audits independently
- Working knowledge of UK GAAP, including FRS 102 and FRS 101 and IFRS would be beneficial
- Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact on engagements
- Develop technical and commercial awareness while adapting to evolving audit technologies
About You
- Active Part Qualified ACA with exams well underway and a clear intention to qualify
- Up to date Audit experience gained within a UK practice
- Comfortable working with clients and keen to grow into a more autonomous audit role
- Strong academic background, good IT skills, and an adaptable, forward-thinking mindset
- Wishes to work with a Surrey-based firm offering a broad and varied client portfolio
