Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for the opportunity to work on innovative clean technology that is helping to reduce carbon emissions? Are you looking for a hands-on senior role where you can take ownership of electrical systems from design through to production?
On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting clean-tech business developing battery and solar-powered refrigeration technology for the transport industry. You'll play a key role in designing, testing and improving the electrical systems that power the company's products.

The day to day of this role includes:
- Designing electrical systems
- Creating electrical diagrams and wiring designs
- Selecting components
- Testing equipment
- Investigating electrical faults
- Ensuring designs are safe and meet relevant standards
You'll work closely with mechanical, software, manufacturing and supply-chain teams, while also providing technical guidance to other engineers.
The ideal candidate will have several years' experience designing electrical systems, ideally within automotive, industrial, transport, battery or similar environments. You'll have strong knowledge of electrical safety, experience creating electrical schematics and wiring designs, and enjoy solving technical problems in a hands-on environment.
The role includes:
- Senior Electrical Systems Engineer
- Electrical system design, testing, fault finding and product development
- Monday to Friday
- 3 days per week on site in Leatherhead
- Hands-on engineering environment
The person should have:
- Several years' electrical engineering experience
- Experience designing electrical systems for automotive, industrial, transport or similar products
- Experience testing equipment and diagnosing electrical faults
- Confidence working with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Based in or within a commutable distance of Leatherhead, Surrey
