Family Solicitor – Kidderminster
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its dynamic and supportive Family Department.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload across a broad spectrum of family law matters.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including
- Private Children matters
- Divorce and financial settlements
- Injunctions
- Elements of Public Law (e. g. conferences and LAC reviews)
- Legal Aid and privately funded work
- Provide clear and effective legal advice to clients both in person and via telephone
- Maintain and manage case files in line with firm procedures and professional standards
- Ensure timely billing, including preparing files for costing and recovering outstanding disbursements
- Your Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' PQE within Family Law
• Strong working knowledge of
- Divorce and financial matters
- Private and Public Children cases
- Injunctions
- Legal Aid and private client work
- Ability to manage a full caseload independently and efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Competence in using case management systems and IT platforms
- Solid understanding of SRA regulations and compliance requirements
- Professional, proactive and team-oriented approach
- Demonstrates integrity, reliability and a positive work ethic
