The Opportunity
We are representing a confidential organisation seeking an experienced Interim CFO to play a central role in a critical turnaround phase.

This is a hands-on, high-impact assignment for a finance leader who can bring pace, control and commercial clarity to a business that needs stronger decision-making, sharper reporting and greater operational discipline.

About the role
Working closely with the Board and senior leadership team, you will lead the finance function through a period of meaningful change.

Your focus will be on strengthening financial controls, improving the quality and usefulness of management information, and giving the business the insight it needs to make better decisions quickly.

This role goes well beyond traditional finance.

You will work closely with operational teams to review stock visibility, inventory ageing, markdown activity, systems, data quality and process effectiveness.

You will be expected to challenge constructively, get close to the detail and help embed greater accountability across the organisation.

About You
We are looking for a proven Interim CFO with strong turnaround or transformation experience, ideally gained in an SME, owner-managed or privately backed environment.

You will be confident operating at Board level while remaining comfortable working hands-on with teams, data and operational detail.

For the right person, this is a rare opportunity to leave a visible legacy: a stronger, better-controlled and more commercially informed business.

If you are an Interim CFO who thrives in complex, fast-moving turnaround environments, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
