The department sits at the heart of the firm's future growth plans and is currently expanding. The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a growing team, working across the full spectrum of employment law with a particular focus on respondent-based, commercial client work. The role covers a broad and varied caseload, including corporate support work, wrongful and unfair dismissals, redundancy and restructuring, restrictive covenants, and general day-to-day employment advisory and transactional matters. There is real scope to shape the department's future direction, with the successful candidate encouraged to bring their own ideas for growth and business development. The role also offers the chance to work cross-departmentally, referring and receiving work across the firm's other practice areas.
The Ideal Candidate
- UK qualified Employment Solicitor with 7 PQE+
- Strong technical knowledge across respondent-based employment law, ideally gained in private practice
- Immigration experience is beneficial but not essential
- Confident operating with minimum supervision, with some prior supervisory experience
- A genuine enthusiasm for business development and networking
- Excellent client care skills and sound commercial acumen
- A collegiate, team-oriented approach
