Family Law Solicitor
Location: Kenilworth | Hours: Full-time

An established law firm is seeking an experienced Private Family Law Solicitor to join its Family Department.

The successful candidate will manage their own privately funded caseload and provide high-quality advice and representation across a broad range of family matters.

The Role

  • Manage a varied private family law caseload from instruction to conclusion
  • Advise on divorce, financial remedies, private children matters, cohabitation and separation disputes, nuptial agreements and domestic abuse matters
  • Conduct negotiations, prepare court documentation and represent clients as appropriate
  • Instruct counsel and experts where required
  • Deliver excellent client care while meeting billing, compliance and case management requirements
  • Contribute to networking, marketing and business development
  • Support colleagues and maintain ongoing professional development

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
  • Solid experience in private family law
  • Ability to manage an independent caseload with minimal supervision
  • Resolution membership or willingness to join is desirable
  • Advocacy experience is advantageous
  • Established local professional networks would be beneficial
  • Experience supervising junior staff or supporting trainees is desirable
