We are seeking a Site Services Engineering Coordinator to take a pivotal role at the heart of site operations.
This technically demanding position involves managing a complex and integrated utility infrastructure essential for the production processes.
The role bridges engineering, compliance, and operational excellence, making it ideal for someone driven to enhance performance, manage risks, and lead the optimisation of energy and utility systems.
Day-to-Day of the Role
- Full ownership and operational leadership of site utilities including steam, CHP, water treatment, and effluent systems.
- Ensure all plant operations are within safe, efficient, and compliant parameters.
- Provide technical leadership and drive a proactive, reliability-focused culture within site services.
- Develop and continuously improve PPM strategies for all utility assets.
- Lead breakdown responses and fault finding across multi-discipline systems.
- Manage critical spares and ensure asset reliability.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant standards and manage environmental compliance including emissions and effluent discharge.
- Optimise energy performance and identify opportunities to reduce consumption.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support capital projects and plant upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in an Engineering discipline.
- BOAS certification; BOAS Manager experience highly desirable.
- IOSH qualification is essential.
- Experience with industrial steam boilers, water treatment, and dosing systems.
- Strong experience in utilities and process environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Highfield Level 3 Legionella qualification preferred.
