What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality care to residents with Dementia, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Assist with personal care tasks, mobility support, and daily living activities.
- Administer medication safely and in accordance with training.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and the healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Maintain documentation and reports to keep accurate records of patient progress.
- Support and mentor junior staff, sharing expertise and best practices in Dementia and Older Person Care.
What you'll need:
- A minimum of 6 months' recent UK experience in a healthcare assistant role, ideally focusing on Dementia or Older Person Care.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Ability to provide two professional references.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Basic Life Support (Practical).
- Experience with Manual Handling (Practical).
- Confidence in safe Medication Administration (Practical), though an expired certificate may be considered.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
