Marc Daniels is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing finance team based in Hounslow for a market-leading logistics organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working closely with non-finance stakeholders, presenting financial information and contributing to wider FP&A activity.

This role is perfect for a Management Accountant looking to broaden their experience and gain valuable exposure to FP&A within a commercially focused finance environment.

The Role

  • Preparing and delivering accurate monthly management accounts.
  • Taking ownership of the full P&L, monitoring revenue, costs and profitability while providing clear financial insight to support business performance.
  • Producing detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary.
  • Presenting financial reports and key performance updates to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Acting as a trusted business partner to budget holders and operational teams.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning activities.
  • Providing financial analysis to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
  • Investigating variances and identifying opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Supporting FP&A activities, including scenario modelling, reporting and performance analysis.
  • Contributing to process improvements across the finance function.
  • Ensuring financial information is accurate, timely and clearly communicated.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA)
  • Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Confidence presenting financial information to managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and wider FP&A activities.
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
  • The ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
  • A commercially focused, proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
