About the Role

We're recruiting an Electrically Biased Shift Engineer to join our team near Letchworth , reporting directly to the Maintenance Team Leader.
You'll be apprenticeship-qualified or hold an equivalent engineering qualification.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out preventative maintenance
- Electrical fault finding on PLCs, motors, production lines and control panels
- Responding to breakdowns
- Supporting new machinery installations
- Contributing to engineering projects
- Driving continuous improvement within the engineering team
- Identifying and resolving ongoing issues with long-term solutions
- Working a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift (days & nights)
- Technical Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical and electrical competence
- Confident with electrical and PLC fault finding
