Fletcher George is pleased to be partnering with a respected independent firm of accountants in High Wycombe as they look to appoint an experienced Personal Tax Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an established Tax team acting for a diverse portfolio of private clients, Entrepreneurial Director of Owner Managed Businesses entrepreneurs and High Net Worth Individuals.
The firm has earned an excellent reputation for the quality of its client relationships.
Also they have created an environment in which people are trusted and staff retention has historically been very low as a result.
Rather than a rigid hybrid policy, the Partners take a practical and mature approach to flexible working.
Typically, the team enjoys three days in the office and two days working from home.
For candidates bringing exceptional technical expertise, additional flexibility may be considered.
The Role
Managing your own portfolio you will become a trusted tax adviser to your clients, ensuring their Personal Tax affairs are handled professionally whilst maintaining the high standards for which the firm is known.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing a portfolio of Personal Tax clients.
- Overseeing all aspects of Personal Tax compliance.
- Advising on Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Trust matters.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities.
- Building long-term relationships with clients.
About You
Your background is likely to include
- CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA qualification, or you may be qualified by experience.
- Strong Personal Tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
- Excellent technical knowledge across Personal Tax compliance.
- The ability to build lasting client relationships.
