Are you an Ex-Submariner or Nuclear Watchkeeper, looking to progress off the tools into an Instructor or Trainer role, on a static on-shore site, with one of the UK's biggest defence contractors, who are responsible for training the next wave of engineers in a military environment?
On offer is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a multi-billion-pound global engineering and defence company, who have an industry reputation for providing one of the top training and progression programmes and often work on several large-scale projects around the UK. This is a unique opportunity where you will be funded for qualifications to improve your career and progress into senior management.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on training both in the simulator and the classroom to marine engineers and plant operators. You will deliver pre-set lesson plans, safety training and assessments, monitor trainee development and collaborate with colleagues to improve internal processes and uphold health and safety. This is a Monday to Friday role, 37 hour week.
This role would suit an ex-Submariner or Nuclear Watchkeeper in any category, looking for an off the tools role, on a static onshore site, full training to become an instructor and the opportunity to work for one of the biggest defence companies in the UK.
THE ROLE:
- Deliver engaging lessons using pre-set course materials
- Class-room and simulator based training
- Prepare lesson plans and assess engineers / operators results
- Develop training content and improve course development
- Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams
- Mon - Fri, 37 hour week.
