The Opportunity
This role will evolve to allow you to eventually take ownership of a diverse portfolio while working closely with experienced senior colleagues.
You'll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, gain a thorough understanding of their businesses, and become a trusted adviser.
As your knowledge of the portfolio and confidence within the firm grows, you'll be given the autonomy to manage your clients in a way that aligns with both their needs and the firm's values.
As Client Portfolio Manager, your duties will include but not limited
- Mentoring and developing junior team members, allocating and reviewing work, and providing technical guidance where required.
- Leading client meetings and building strong relationships with business owners and senior stakeholders, providing sound financial advice.
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and self-assessment returns.
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships and generate new business through networking, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Identifying process improvements and implementing efficiencies where appropriate..
To be successful in this role, you will be
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- An experienced practice professional with a strong technical accounting background.
- Experienced in preparing and reviewing accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Confident managing client relationships and leading meetings.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
- Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in business development and helping clients achieve their goals.
