This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with an impressive track record of success and exciting growth plans through to 2027. The company is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional who can play a key role in supporting financial reporting, improving processes, and providing valuable insight to aid decision-making across the business.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with strong management accounting experience and the confidence to work closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Leading the month-end close process
- Posting and reviewing journals, accruals and prepayments
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
- Producing detailed variance analysis with meaningful commentary
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
- Preparing and analysing KPI reports to support business performance
- Business partnering with budget holders and operational stakeholders
- Assisting with year-end accounts and audit preparation
- Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting
- Providing financial insight and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Mentoring junior members of the finance team where required
About you:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant role or similar
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and management reporting experience
- Commercially aware, proactive and confident working with stakeholders across the business
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with finance systems
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
